The Whistler Longboard Festival is a multi-day skateboard festival based in the mountain resort town of Whistler and held at world-class Olympic facilities. The event attracts the top professional downhill skateboarders from around the world, including their fans and supporters. Last year, our athletes came from more than 20 countries representing in the following categories: Open, Women, Junior, Masters35 and Luge. Take advantage of the low Canadian dollar, low drinking age, brand new skatepark and nightlife in Whistler’s village!

The Track

The main event is a World Cup downhill race held at the base of Blackcomb Mountain at the Whistler Sliding Centre. The course features 11 corners with 8 hairpin turns that challenge you and leave your legs burning.

Our fans can enjoy the event from the beer garden or grab some food as they watch the athletes take their final turn over the finish line.
