The last day of the IDF WQS Karera sa Lumban was a great success. 40 riders raced and the weather conditions were optimal.

The day started with a Repechage Race or Bracket B of 28 riders in a 32 man race heat for the top 6 positions, 4 finalist plus the top 2 from the Repechage Consi Finals. These 6 riders joined a 16 man Opens Race. The competition was really tight and every rider pulled their best strategy to reach the Opens Finals.

Elissah Mah was the only rider who did every IDF race of the Asian Leg Series and also became the 2016 IDF Asian Region Female Champion.

The Finals Opens Race had 4 riders who proofed to be fast, consistent and thirsty to win to this event: Max Ballesteros (Brazil), Max Vickers (USA) , Ben Hay (Australia) and 17 year old Tomas Romualdez (Philippines).
Max V was the first one from the start push but then it became a constant battle of drafting and passing during most parts of the track. Max B, who was leading the pack a few corners before the finish line, crashed out leaving a free pass to the 3 remaining riders. Ben Hay took first Place followed by Tomas Romualdez and Max Vickers. These three riders finished micro seconds from each other which is why we had confirmed with all our finish line cameras.
