Kozakov’s 10th birthday; Historic, World-Class Racing with a Heavy Finish

The 10th anniversary of any downhill event is a rare, special occasion; the 10th anniversary of a legendary event like Kozakov is truly momentous, deserving of great celebration. Adam Westfall (US) seized the opportunity, sneaking past into second place, while fastest qualifier, Harry Clarke (AU) squeezed into third after Hertler controversially crossed the finish line on hands and knees in a desperate scramble.

Transylvania Qualifiers: Battling The Weather

Transylvania Qualifiers: Battling The Weather

This is one of the world’s fastest racetracks, but the weather is some of the craziest we’ve ever seen. Qualification started with a sunny morning, giving everyone some cautious optimism after practice turned rainy yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately the forecast was accurate: midway through the first quali run, the rain began.
