This is one of the world’s fastest racetracks, but the weather is some of the craziest we’ve ever seen. Qualification started with a sunny morning, giving everyone some cautious optimism after practice turned rainy yesterday afternoon. Day Two qualifications began with yesterday's fastest qualifier, Chase Hiller, breaking his ankle on his first run. With Chase out of the picture, fellow Coloradan Daina Banks pipped him by one-hundredth of a second to take the top qualifying spot in Open Skateboard.

Race day in Moon Rock WQS was a bit affected by the weather. Some rain drops fell in the morning right after the Open Skateboard B bracket and although the track became soaked in the first section, it remained dry at the finish line.
