Does a new year mean new race tracks? It may, but more importantly it means the return of the legendary Newtons at the Mt. Panorama race track in Bathurst, Australia on February 17th.

Whether you're a downhill veteran or new to racing, there is a pretty good chance that you've seen some footage of the iconic race. For those that are unaware, racing first began at Mt. Panorama in 2008 and was held by the Australian Skateboard Racing Association. The race served as a pinnacle for skateboard and luge racing in Australia and later became an iconic event that was recognized across the globe. We are thrilled to see the return of racing at Mt. Panorama and look forward to seeing racers from around the world come together to take the crown for the event's return.

Nobody is happier than Bathurst local, Mitch Thompson that the Newton's Nation World Skateboarding competition is back at Mount Panorama.Since skateboarding on the Mount was outlawed a few years ago, he's had to practice mentally on the track. The big race is on next month and tonight Mitch takes us through the course to show us how it feels to be in his world.
